How can I find out what is included in the purchase?

Do not assume a previously purchased offer has the same inclusions today. Look for distinctions between a complete offering and an extension or replacement.

What should I check about requirements or limitations before purchasing?

Read exclusions attached to a feature that is important to you. If compatibility matters, look for explicit information rather than visual similarity.

How can I assess an important claim made about a product?

Look for a clear definition of the benefit being described. Look at whether the comparison uses conditions relevant to your intended use.
